Spin-off to “Love for Sale” and “Love for Sale 2”, “Arini by Love. Inc” follows one of the trends of the selections Netflix makes from Indonesia, which seem to focus on impression and the popularity of their cast, rather than actual substance. Let us take things from the beginning though.

CBS towered over the competition again Thursday with CSI: Crime Scene Investigation leading the charge as usual. NBC had a good night with ER, which pulled it out in the stretch to narrowly top CBS' Without a Trace in the adults 18-49 demographic, according to preliminary estimates from Nielsen Media Research. CBS opened the night far atop the playing field with Survivor: Guatemala, which reeled in 19 million viewers and 6.3 rating/17 share in adults 18-49. NBC's Joey (8.1 million, 3.2/9) had an uptick in the hour, as did 8:30 p.m.'s Will & Grace (8.9 million, 3.8/10). Fox was in more lackluster territory with The O.C. (6.1 million, 2.7/7), which was almost beaten by WB Network's Smallville (5.8 million, 2.5/7). UPN was solid at 8 p.m. with Everybody Hates Chris (5.3 million, 2.0/6), but the rest of the network's comedy block has had a hard time holding that momentum, particularly 8:30 p.m.'s Love, Inc. (3.7 million, 1.5/4).

Desperate Housewives star Page Kennedy has been fired from the hit drama for "improper conduct". Kennedy, who plays fugitive Caleb in the second series of the ABC show, was dropped on Friday after the studio conducted an investigation into allegations against him. Publicist Janet Daily refused to divulge details of the allegations. Kennedy had hoped the show would give him the opportunity of "making a name" for himself and claimed he turned down roles on television programs Barbershop, Pepper Dennis and Love, Inc. to star in the series. Television bosses are recasting the role. Kennedy's final scenes will be aired in the US on Sunday.
