Quite possibly one of the most under rated games

Before you play Boiling Point: Road To Hell, A couple things you should know.

The game has really frustrating control glitches. For instance while driving the vehicle will take a little time like 1 second. To respond to your command to turn. On some dirt roads your vehicle will get stuck for no reason (NOTE 1). Also when moving around a area for the first time. Just moving your view in circles lags the gameplay(NOTE 2). When entering building and seeing a person that is supposed to be sitting down. He will be standing with his legs through the chair(NOTE 3). Anyway on with the review.

First of all the reason I gave this game a 8 out of 10. Is because the game's graphics are pretty amazing and the gameplay world response to your character is amazing.

The game starts you off in Latin south America. Where everybody you talk to will refer to you as Gringo (White Male). You will Be in a world where nobody hates you at first and nobody particularly likes you at first either. You can win over each faction by certain actions. I will leave it up to you to figure out the ways. The game is by far truly under rated. Despite the few glitches that I mentioned. You can easily get used to those. I found myself for the most part controlling the vehicles with no problem. The game also has one of the most amazingly complex themes I have ever heard that was made specially for the game. It plays while installing the game and if you really love music and love complexity in your music. You will want to install the game again and again. The rest of the judgment I will leave up to you. It is really worth the playing.

NOTE 1: (I solved this by shooting out one of the tires, Thus the vehicle moves sideways a hair and you are unstuck. The reason I took the time to figure this out is when you are far away from a city or main road. The vehicle you have is really essential to getting around. Otherwise you have a really really long walk on your hands.) NOTE 2: (It only does this once per area per game load) NOTE 3: (Talk to them and they will sit down)

It could be better

A game which develops in an huge area in a south American town. The objective is to search for your kidnapped daughter and to take part for or against different groups such as CIA, Military, Police, drug dealers, Indians etc. When you play the game it is too easy to meet a snake or get shoot by an angry drug dealer.

The actor Arnold Vosloo also known from the TV series 24 (2005) is the voice and look for the main character in the game.

The idea would be fun if it wasn't for poor testing of the game. Lots of bugs and errors in the game and the second patch are about 195 Mb big!

There are better games to buy.

A complete waste of time.

Warning: Spoilers
Do not get carried away by the relatively good score that the game has on this page. I did it and honestly I have no idea what people see in it to have (at this time) a 7 out of 10.

The game is long overdue for its release time (2005). When you start the campaign it may seem somewhat promising, but as you play, you will realize the enormous negative points that the game has and that it is worth mentioning, they will accompany you during the rest of your adventure (adventure of the that I only participated a few hours due to the enormous boredom that I got).

The history? Very simple, to tell the truth, but not bad for that. The only positive point I found here is that during the game there is a certain "legend" in which you can collect 6 stones I do not know for what supernatural purpose, but that at least keeps you up to date by generating interest in obtaining them. However, that becomes totally irrelevant, because he is appeased by ...

The gameplay. It is lousy. Literally a pistol is more accurate than an assault rifle with a scope, the stupid healing system as well as the system of weight and sale of objects, not to mention that you have to be traveling, without exaggeration, for more than 10 minutes just to get to another point of the huge empty map that the game has. Because yes, even though everything else is bearable, the trip is the worst part of all. The map is as huge as it is empty, and when you explore it you won't find more than a few snakes, wasps and one or another NPC that does nothing to immerse you in the game. Some vehicles even take random directions while driving, without even having a flat tire. Why? Because if.

And if that wasn't enough, we have the terrible technical aspects of the game. Sometimes the shots are not heard, and neither are the dialogues of the characters. Enemies LITERALLY and I go back and repeat, I'm not exaggerating, they shoot you and they go through the walls in front of you, to kill you when you least expect it.

And I guess I could go even further, but my verdict based on everything I said before and the tremendous anxiety and boredom that playing this brought me is a solid no-no.

There are better things to play.
