This is a film I really enjoyed. I had the pleasure to see 17000 Block 9/22/05 at the Star Theater in Detroit. I went in having thought it would be more of the same in your hood movies. Not so. 17000 Block was both entertaining and well written. All the actors done a wonderful job and was very convincing in their roles. During the entire movie it kept you wondering what was going to happen next. I would without a doubt recommend you see this film. It's well worth the cost of admission or on DVD. I'm a filmmaker myself(Real Entertainment Media & Films) and I'm not to quick to give up the props but it's well deserved in this case.I really mean that.Detroit is in the game now. Good Luck!!
