The song released digitally on April 5, ranking 33rd in Oricon's weekly digital single charts in its first week. The rock tune is now featured as the opening theme for the spring 2024 TV anime Wind Breaker . This is the first time the 21-year-old singer has provided a theme song for an anime series. The music video, in which natori himself is depicted as a fast-moving character, was directed by up-and-coming video director Kouko , with illustrations and animation by illustrator Deppa . The official site and social channels for the Wind Breaker TV anime—which adapts the action brawler manga by Satoru Nii—have received another major update with a new trailer, cast additions, a new key visual and confirmation of the opening and ending theme performers. All are featured below.
