Iggy Azalea says it was her relationship woes that led to the delay of her highly-anticipated new album. "I needed a lot of time," she told People on Thursday at the Longines Masters of Los Angeles Gala. "I mean, you wake up one morning and your fiancé is having a baby with someone else, you're going to need some time, right?" It's been a rough year for the Australia-born rapper. She and her now-ex fiancé Nick Young called it quits in June, just months after the NBA star was involved in an alleged cheating scandal. Soon after, it was revealed...

Can we officially rule Dannii Minogue out as a special guest on The X Factor's upcoming Judges' Houses?
The current X Factor Australia judge - and former UK one - told Gt Magazine that she would be unable to take part in the stage this year because ITV bosses planned to film it live.
However, it was recently confirmed that this series' Judges' Houses won't be completely live any more - so is there hope for Minogue yet?
On missing the UK following her relocation to her native Australia, the 43-year-old said: "It's nice when people stop me on the street and say they miss me on The X Factor.
"It's still a big part of my world, doing it in Australia. But I chose to go back to Australia with my little son, and to be close to my parents, my brother and his kids. It was a real life style choice.

Dannii Minogue is keen to come back to The X Factor - but she won't be joining Cheryl Fernandez-Versini at Judges' Houses this year after all.
The singer was keen to appear on the new series of the ITV show, but format changes – which will see the Judges' Houses section of the show go out live – have made it impossible.
The X Factor 2015: 8 big changes that have been made this series
Speaking to the Manchester Evening News, Minogue said: "I was trying to come back to X Factor here as it fell that I'd be in the country at the same time as the Judges' Houses, so I thought I could join up with Cheryl or something."

The X Factor Australia judge added: "But sadly they're filming the Judges' Houses live this year, so it didn't work out.

She might have left The X Factor after the 2010 series but rumours have suggested that Dannii Minogue could be back this year.
According to Metro, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini has personally requested that Minogue joins her for the Judges' Houses stage of the competition.
Apparently, it's all working out quite nicely as Minogue is filming her X Factor Australia Judges' Houses in the UK and won't have too far to travel, as Fernandez-Versini is hosting hers in France.
The report also claims that Simon Cowell has bagged Paloma Faith to join new judge Nick Grimshaw, saying that he's hoping this will deter her from signing up to BBC One's rival singing show The Voice UK.
But none of this is confirmed at the moment - Grimshaw was previously said to be planning to take Jess Glynne with him to Judges' Houses - and the report suggests that Cowell has ditched Sinitta,...

Natalia Kills and Willy Moon have both been fired from The X Factor Nz, following harsh criticism of a contestant.
Kills, who appeared on the singing competition's judging panel alongside her husband, took offence to contestant Joe Irvine's live performance and called it "disgusting" and "absolutely artistically atrocious".
The show's New Zealand producer MediaWorks described the pair's comments as "unacceptable" and they have left The X Factor Nz "effective immediately".
"Last night on X Factor both Kills and Moon made comments that were completely unacceptable," chief executive Mark Weldon explained.
"While the judges on X Factor are expected to provide critiques of the performances, we will not tolerate such destructive tirades from any of the judges.
"Contestants put their all into this competition and they should expect to receive feedback and criticism that is professional and constructive.

Mel B was confirmed as the fourth X Factor judge this morning - but it's not going to be her first go at starring on a Simon Cowell show. Not only did she pop up as a guest on The X Factor UK back in 2012, but she was a fixture of the Australian version show, too - and she's on America's Got Talent.
With that in mind, we figured that we could probably work out what kind of judge she's going to be by poring over old footage (or, er, spending all morning on YouTube.) Read on for 10 things we can expect when Mel B joins The X Factor...
1. Performances of classic Spice Girls songs.
Right, so we're sold already. Admittedly, this was when Mel was just a guest mentor on the Australian X Factor, but it's bloody amazing. She joins the top five for a virtuoso performance of 'Stop' - which,...

You might have heard that The Voice and The X Factor won't be the only singing competitions in town for much longer. ITV confirmed this week that it has picked up Rising Star - a brand new talent show based on an Israeli format. But if you're feeling baffled, fear not - we have all the answers to all of your Rising Star questions...
1. Um, what makes Rising Star different from all those other singing shows?
Good question! The answer is... you. Rising Star's original selling point is that viewers vote on acts in real time, deciding whether or not they get through as they're actually on the stage singing. In other words, those auditionees have just the length of a song to convince you to put them through. No padded-out results shows here - it's all happening straight away.

Ah, talent shows, a mainstay of Saturday night television that continues to flourish and entertain millions with every passing year. While once a light hearted and harmless medium of escapism, the talent show genre has evolved into a multi-million dollar industry that boosts the careers of contestants, but judges alike. While many turn their nose’s up at a so called diluted or easy way of achieving fame, talent shows have undeniably energised the music scene – it just depends whether you see that as a good thing, or a horrendous thing.
It is undisputed that the music industry for the better party of a decade has been in decline. Changing consumer habits have seen the music scene attempt to catch up, but at the end of the day the love and desire for music still remains.

The first time I heard Les Miserables, I was 8 years old playing at my friend Ali’s house. She had an older sister and watched old episodes of Saturday Night Live, and was generally hip and cool in all the ways I was not. (I read Babysitters Club books under my covers with a flashlight at night and pretended my bike was a horse named Tabitha, who I kept in the “barn” of my suburban garage.) Looking back, I am fairly certain Les Mis was the first musical I ever heard, and it was the first time music really evoked something emotional in me. Like, I felt something. I’m not sure what an 8 year old really feels, but it was more than what I got listening to my dad play the drums on the steering wheel of our Peugeot wagon as Fleetwood Mac‘s Greatest Hits churned along in the tape player.

This Spice Girl just wants him to stop. Melanie Brown, better known as Mel B, aka Scary Spice, has been granted a restraining order in Sydney, Australia, against a photographer who she claimed threatened her husband and endangered her life. This after the singer appeared at a hearing today and recounted for the court how the paparazzo ambushed her and her husband, Stephen Belafonte, when they were out on kayaks in Sydney Harbour last week. It's been six weeks and 12 episodes worth of Auditions and Boot Camp and Judges' Houses and all of the various preliminary steps, but "The X Factor" is finally ready to bring on the live performances. Wednesday (October 31) night's episode features performances from the Top 16, which inexplicably isn't being treated as the "finals." No, we're going to have Wednesday's performances and then eliminations on Thursday and *that* group of contestants -- 12 individuals/groups -- will be the Finalists. Why does "12" scream "Finalists" and "16" says "Random Intermediate Grouping"? I have no idea. You'd have to take it up...

Ronan Keating is dating a former X Factor Australia producer, reports The Mirror. The 35-year-old singer, who is a judge on the show, first met executive Storm Uechtritz two years ago on set. The pair worked together for seven months before Uechtritz moved on to other projects. They are said to have grown close over the last two months following the 30-year-old's split from her businessman husband. Keating announced that he had separated from model Yvonne - his wife of 14 years - in April. He was said to have been "devastated" when he found out she had met someone new. "Storm is beautiful and vivacious and is a really good tonic for Ronan after the tough 18 months he's had," a source told the paper. It sure looks like it. Thomas Rabe, who became CEO of Europe’s largest media company in January, said today that an Ipo is one option to help “reshape Bertelsmann over the next five to ten years” — especially to fuel investments in digital ventures. To underscore how serious he is about the idea, Rabe said the 177-year old Berlin-based company will change its legal status to facilitate a stock sale. The announcement is a surprise: The Mohn family, which controls Bertelsmann, has resolutely opposed an Ipo. One-time CEO Thomas Middelhoff lost his job in 2002 when he when he tried to take the company public. Under Bertelsmann’s new legal status, the Mohns could retain control and still sell stock to outsiders. Investors would be placing a bet on the continent’s largest TV company. Bertelsmann owns Rtl Group, which has several stations and networks — and also owns Fremantle Media, which...
