This short film is part of a fascinating DVD set issued by DD Home Video in cooperation with the Imperial war Museum. The set is called "Home Guard and Citizen Army".It contains a large number of wartime information and propaganda films.many of which i had never seen before including this one.It was made by Ealing studios and as you can see from the cast list has a pretty formidable cast.Basically it shows how a careless remark by a pilot leads to the abortion of an air raid on a dam as the Germans have got wind of it through agents in this country. What is so intriguing about this film is that it is clearly the prototype for "Next Of Kin" which was made as a feature in 1942 to warn everyone about this sort of activity and which is a classic of its kind.
