Sex & Nudity

  • A man and woman talk about starting a family and having a child.
  • The main character, a feline, says that he is a great lover several times.
  • A male and female cat flirt and make some innuendo.
  • It is vaguely implied that two cats "slept" together.
  • Two characters look away when an egg undresses off-screen.
  • Kitty sits on top of one of the golden eggs and says 'Can you imagine laying one of these? Ouch!'
  • A character tells a story to Puss through a man's tattoos. When he asks to show the golden eggs, the man starts unbuttoning his pants, implying that he was going to show his testicles. Puss quickly looks away and says he's seen enough.
  • "Puss in Boots" is the name of the movie but Puss is merely the name of a cat.
  • Puss licked himself in prison.
  • Jack said, "They are cute little buggers."
  • Humpty Dumpty says he's not wearing underwear.
  • Puss jumps over a spire. He barely prevents himself from being poked in the groin by the tip of the spire.
  • Humpty Dumpty gets hit in the private parts when he rolls into a golden egg.
  • While running from the monster that guards the golden goose, Kitty and Humpty fall on top of Puss. The positions they land in overlap with his crotch.
  • Puss pulls a guy's pants down twice revealing his underwear.

Violence & Gore

  • Several innuendos about a sentient egg potentially being cracked, cooked, and/or eaten.
  • In a tavern, men taunt a male cat dressed in boots, hat and sword, and then pull his barstool out from under him as he clings to the bar; he loses his boots, he throws a knife at the head of one man and into a wanted poster of himself and when another man approaches with a knife, the cat sticks his sword under the man's chin, pinning him to the wall (no blood is shed).
  • In an orphanage, bullies knock down an egg-boy and taunt him.
  • A male kitten in an orphanage saves an egg-boy from bullies by knocking down two of them and throwing a wooden spoon to knock them down again as they run away (no blood is visible).
  • An army of soldiers guard a small town and a prison that looks like a Spanish Inquisition site with dark dungeons, long pikes with axe heads and prisoners hanging in chains from walls; soldiers chase down an egg and a cat several times, throwing pikes, swords and knives into walls and roofs around them until the egg falls, rolls around and is captured while the cat flees by jumping off a tall bridge into a river.
  • Two cats jump onto a huge moving wagon, break open a box and steal beans, but are discovered by a woman with a handgun and a knife; the woman chases the cats across the top of the wagon, one cat escapes, the woman hangs the other cat over a cliff as the wagon passes by, he escapes and is chased by the wagon (drawn by red-eyed wild boars) until the wagon he has jumped onto turns into a glider, and it reaches a cliff.
  • Two cats and an egg build a catapult using a champagne bottle and a rope tied to the cork, the cats pop the huge cork and ride it across a dangerous looking valley, the egg uses the rope as a zip line to cross over and they, along with a small goose they have stolen, run across vines, fall into a river and slide into a whirlpool as a huge orange eye is seen (we hear loud roars).
  • A wild bull charges an elderly woman that's limping and using a cane until a cat jumps onto one of the bull's horns and twists him to the ground.
  • A goose the size of King Kong honks and stomps through a village in search of her baby, destroying houses but not people or animals.
  • A woman shoots a man off a balcony with a loud handgun and we see the man fall and hear him hit the floor.
  • A woman continually points and fires a large handgun at wagons, horse riders and characters on foot, but no one is harmed.
  • A cat and a man fight with swords (no one is injured).
  • Two cats climb in a window and circle each other until a woman fires a handgun into the wooden floor at their feet causing one cat to run out; the woman kicks the other cat out.
  • A cat in Musketeer hat and boots engages in sword fighting with soldiers several times, but no one is injured; a cat dressed like Cat Woman with mask, cape and boots joins the swordfights twice and is unharmed.
  • A few rooftop chases include two cats running between soldiers' pikes that stick in the roofs; sometimes they literally dance around the weapons and are always unharmed.
  • A cat is imprisoned, and another cat frees him by jumping on the head of a jailer and knocking him out after the imprisoned cat hypnotizes him.
  • A woman waves a shaving knife before shaving her husband.
  • A man and a woman drive a giant black garbage collection-type wagon pulled by a herd of red-eyed black wild boars that charge toward the screen several times.
  • We see a man and a woman, having been caught in the way of a huge stomping goose, in twin beds next to one another and in full body casts (we do not see how they were actually hurt).
  • A cat falls down a long chute and into a club with dance-fighting as an event; two cats fight by dancing, growling, hissing and occasionally punching one another in the nose, one cat scratches toward her opponent as if in a litter box, the other cat drags his bottom and groin around her in a circle on the floor until he finally picks up a guitar and hits her in the head, to which she pulls off her mask and berates him and he yells loudly that he did not know she was a woman.
  • We hear loud roars coming from a giant's castle.
  • Two cats argue and threaten to break the other in half.
  • A cat and an egg argue several times about whether to rob townspeople and about who is good and who is bad.
  • An egg yells about everyone mistreating him from childhood and now he is nothing.
  • An egg says that a little goose's mom will be out for blood when she finds the village. We hear that a giant died years ago.
  • A man throws a hat and two boots at a cat sitting in a prison window, knocking him out of the window (he is unharmed).
  • An accident-prone egg-person falls a lot and rolls on the ground; he also flies a glider into a treetop, but is unharmed.
  • There are a few images of fire include a giant town bonfire, a small campfire and fire shooting from a handgun several times but harming no one.
  • A kitten and an egg become blood brothers by pricking one of the egg's fingers and a cat toe and shaking hands (we see a drop of blood on the cat's hand; yolk comes out of the egg's hand, presumably because it's the egg counterpart of blood).
  • We see the silhouette of a woman cracking a large egg several times on the edge of a wagon and see a shooting stream of what might be egg white.
  • We see spit in the air, but not the floor as a jailer spits on the floor of a cell.
  • A goose periodically lays golden eggs and people and animals say that it is pooping gold.
  • Two cats and an egg bury magic beans and a giant storm cloud appears overhead, the cloud sends down a torrent of bright blue and white light and some rain, a sprout appears and a wide beanstalk carries the three characters into the sky.
  • An egg slams a champagne bottle on a wagon to open it, we see his shadow, as it looks like egg white is spurting out like blood.

Profanity

  • Puss calls Humpty "Maldito huevo" which can translate to "damn egg"

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • When Puss went to prison, he was caught with catnip in his possession.
  • When Puss goes to the tavern he drinks milk like its alcohol.
  • We see one customer drink from a wine or liquor bottle four times.
  • Two cats and an egg build a catapult with a champagne bottle and a rope tied to the cork and when the cork pops we see a stream of champagne and a cat says "Cheers!"
  • An outdoor scene around a wagon shows a man and a woman with glasses of champagne after they pop a bottle's cork and liquid streams out (no one drinks).

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Jack and Jill may be frightening to some children.
  • Th main character is chased by men with swords several times.
  • The violence is quite intense.
  • An unknown beast is seen rushing through the shadows and its creepy eyes is seen.
