Tracing Cowboys is one of those amazing films that not only captivates you, but teaches you something about yourself in the process. The story is well thought out, and even better told. The dialogue, though used sparingly, is well-written, and reminds us that sometimes, silence is more profound than speech.
For me, the best parts of the movie were the absolutely gorgeous camera-work and the hauntingly beautiful soundtrack. Together, these two elements mesh into an ethereal symphony of the senses that totally immerses you in the scene.
