There were over 30 locations in the film's production. Shooting in only 17 days, that was almost a move a day. The film was shot entirely in New York City.
The dream sequence at the end of the film was shot by Thomas Ikimi using his camcorder as he walked around the Upper West Side of Manhattan and visited some of the locations visited during the shoot.
Thomas Ikimi does the voice for the radio station Adam listens to in his apartment when he comes home from the roof.
The roof had to be shot twice due to a mishap the first time round when the police stopped filming due to tenants complaining about footsteps and water leaking in through the ceiling.
The original rough cut was almost three hours long. In the end, most of what was excised from the film to get it down to 90 minutes related to scenes depicting the relationship between Adam and Rebecca.
