- Some men have a rather explicit sexual discussion. A man asks his wife to show him her breasts--she does--and we see them briefly. We see some corpses' naked bodies (no genitals)

- Some very gruesome images of bloody, mangled corpses. An autopsy is performed off-screen. People are arrested fairly often and interrogated (sometimes slapped while being interrogated). A man is stabbed twice and we see blood as he falls on the floor (he dies later in the movie). Plenty of explicit discussion about murder and crime.

- There is a recurring theme of alcoholism throughout the movie. People drink to various degrees of intoxication. We see a few A.A. meetings. People smoke as well.

- There is a very realistic foot-chase scene, resulting in an arrest. Most scenes described in the Violence/Gore category are fairly frightening.
