Maggie Lindemann was introduced to us as a purveyor of pristine pop anthems at the start of her career. However, she’s truly come into herself as one of the industry’s most promising young rockers.
The 25-year-old hitmaker left songs like the wispy “Things” and infectious “Obsessed” in the past, trading them in for plucky anthems with hard-hitting productions. Her career well and truly took flight with her EP Paranoia in 2021, and her debut album Suckerpunch followed the following year.
She’s back again with her latest EP Headsplit, and Maggie delivers edgy, reflective songs reminiscent of acts like Evanescence across the 8-song tracklist. Fans in Los Angeles will have the opportunity to experience the project live in the coming months with two performances recently announced.
Ahead of that, we had the opportunity to catch up with Maggie to discuss Headsplit. She opened up about her evolution, touching on...

Evanescence are celebrating the 20th anniversary of their seminal 2003 album Fallen with a Super Deluxe Edition box set and expanded vinyl and CD reissues, arriving November 17th via Craft Recordings.
Each format includes various demos, outtakes, B-sides, and live recordings from the Fallen era, including a previously unreleased demo of the band’s massive hit “Bring Me to Life” that can be streamed below.
Amy Lee and company pulled out all the stops for the Super Deluxe Edition box set, which includes the standard 2-lp reissue and a box-set-exclusive cassette featuring unreleased demos and voice notes. It’s a boon for Evanescence completionists, as any Fallen-era rarities and demos have only surfaced on obscure bootlegs up to this point.
Additional ephemera in the box set includes a book featuring new track-by-track notes from Lee, a turntable slipmat emblazoned with the band’s logo, a double-sided poster, and an enamel pin set.

The 2023 edition of Welcome to Rockville took place over four days from Thursday (May 18th) to Sunday (May 21st) in Daytona Beach, Florida. The massive rock fest was led by headliners Tool, Pantera, Slipknot, and Avenged Sevenfold, while also featuring dozens more notable acts.
The festival closed out on Sunday with Tool’s first show of the year. The performance was particularly notable in that singer Maynard James Keenan dressed in drag just days after Governor Ron DeSantis signed a new anti-drag bill into law. As for the music, the band played a brief 10-song set that included classics like “Forty Six & 2” and “Stinkfist” alongside newer tracks like “Fear Inoculum” and “Invincible.”
Elsewhere on Sunday, Incubus paused their set for a moment to help a distressed fan. The band performed with new touring bassist Nicole Row, filling in for Ben Kenney after he underwent surgery for a brain tumor. Other highlights included sets from Deftones,...

Who's ready for the season finale?
This season has raced past us thanks to some great storylines with Elijah and Lopez's legendary beef, Nolan's serial killer Bff Rosalind Dyer meeting her end, and on the bright side, #Chenford.
There were major career shifts in the season as our rookies who no longer fit the term made decisions on what to specialize in their law enforcement careers.
Nolan decided to become a training agent, while Lucy decided to become an undercover agent.
Lucy went undercover on The Rookie Season 5 Episode 21, but the operation was disappointing with the lack of action. It, however, introduced more bumps in the road she and Tim were on.
Tim was uncomfortable with his second significant other deciding to go to the undercover route, but there wasn’t much he or anyone else could have done about it.
Generally, "Going Under" was a chill episode that...
