Cinemax and Softcore have really lost their spines.

This "debuted" on Cinemax last month and it continues Cinemax's mediocre run of adult movies.

With out a doubt the weakest Emmanuelle movie ever made, "Emmanuelle the Private Collection: Emmanuelle vs. Dracula" begins with Emmanuelle sleeping and having a dream involving a woman being seduced and conquered by a man and two other women in a castle. I say "weakest" because the sex scenes in this film are the most unerotic ones I have ever seen in a Emmanuelle movie.

You don't hear hardly any moaning because of the standard music and the sex itself isn't hot at all; the women basically just lay there or rock back and forth. It is like this for the entire movie, which takes place at a kind of bachlorette party for one of Emmanuelle's friends. A man interrupts asking to use the phone and then reveals himself as Dracula. Emmanuelle basically wanders around the house as her four other friends become "brainwashed" by him.

The first sex scene at the house takes place right after the man arrives. Everyone is at the kitchen table and the man makes the bachlorette feel good as a gift. She begins to moan in her chair and then we see a dream sequence with her in an actual sex scene. Nevertheless it is weak along every other scene in this movie. So weak, I will not even go further describing the scenes; only the instances where the film comes close to being watchable.

The parts when women are alone and moaning by themselves are the hot moments in this movie. The first, I have already described, the second too take place outdoors and the scenario is that Dracula is making those women feel good as well, but its much longer and it looks as if they're having sex with an invisible man.

Even Beverly Lynne didn't save this movie which is outrageous because she is usually very into her sex scenes in her other movies and very vocal and sexy.

I wouldn't be surprised if Cinemax hasn't bought the other Emmanuelle movies in this collection because the montage in the beginning of this film shows more graphic and erotic scenes that are not in this. If anything Cinemax will probably only air R rated versions because that's basically all they do now with their After Dark movies, with the exception of Misty Mundae flicks which pretty much could be rated PG-13 with how little they do. Cinemax has really lost all guts in its after dark schedule. The movies are either like this one or Misty's or the movie ARE actually hot but of course Cinemax only airs the R version. Only once in a blue moon has Cinemax actually delivered hot erotic movie during its hot erotic timeslots.
