Carla Laemmle, was the niece of Carl Laemmle [pronounced Lem-Lee], who just happened to be Universal Studios head honcho in its earliest days. She was also the very first voice heard in the very first scene of her Uncle's 1931 Classic that made Bela Lugosi a household name - "Dracula". She is the young lady who is reading aloud to the other passengers inside of the bumpy carriage. She is also the hostess of "The Road To Dracula" - A 1999 video that "looks at the history of the infamous vampire Dracula, and how the the original 1931 film came to be."
She left us in 2014 at the ripe old age 104.
