Misleading title

In the (not so) grand tradition of Pamela and Tommy Lee's Honeymoon video, Tonya Harding's sex tape, and 'Survivor's Jenna' going down on some dude, comes this misleadingly titled Paris Hilton video. It's actually a few nights in Paris, so much for truth in advertising. But I digress, what do you get for your hard earned money you ask? First up is an elongated black and white version of the scene that you can find on the net for free, Paris looking like a doe trapped in the headlights and all. The elongated part of said scene is endless minutes of Rick stroking his manhood. (i did NOT need to see that) and Paris leaving p***ed off because her breasts looked vieny in nightvision. The second scene isn't a sex scene at all, just Paris and Rick arguing. The third scene is Rick and Paris going at it again, this time in color and Paris seems to enjoy herself quite a bit more. Which leads us, into the last scene, which is hands-down the best one (no mean feat here) It revolves around Ms. Hilton giving what looks to be a pretty damn good BJ. Rick narrates between the 4 scenes only to prove he's a cocky lil' punk. Also on the DVD is scenes from 4 additional titles from the company. The second disk of this 2-DVD set is just a collection of various trailers. Unless you just HAVE to see everything Paris Hilton, this is only good enough for a rent, and that's stretching it.

45 Days in Jail

It should be no surprise that this was the best selling and best renting video of 2005. 62 minutes of Paris Hilton gets up the curiosity of many.

Who else gets 45 days in jail for a parole violation and it makes national news?

The best part of this film is seeing the "deer caught in the headlights" look of Paris. Other than that it is just a typical porn tape.

Don't waste your money as the whole thing is available on the internet for free.

Oscar worthy? I think so!

Whether it was the stunning appeals of her attractive posture, Paris Hilton puts on a wonderful performance in what is surely to be known as her best work to date. Some underrate her overall ability, but not this fellow review columnist. I see her for what she is. She's excitable, she's eccentric, and she's collective. Never letting herself fall out of character, Paris answers her cell phone at one point. Can you imagine the star of "The Simple Life" ignoring a phone call pre-intercourse? No, you can't, and that's why this work of artistic expression earns an A for being simply real.

Paris Hilton's co-star "Rick" will shock and surprise you as the one that steals the show mid-course. His facial expressions and line delivery is acceptable, however he truly steals your heart with the line, "Turn to the camera, baby, let everyone know how beautiful you are". There won't be a dry eye in the room once you open your heart and see this cinematic classic for what it's worth: a love story beyond Oscar material.

The way Paris looks into her co-star's eyes will grab you right where it belongs. The lighting is so appealing you can't take your attention off for just one moment to do something more constructive with your time. And the climatic battle of epic proportions will allow you to truly never forget your first night in Paris.

Absolute narcissism..

Well, here is a good example of total and absolute narcissism..

The much talked about "stolen" home video, that later was proven to actually having been directed and marketed by Paris Hilton herself, after suing Rick Salomon, the ex-boyfriend, several millions of dollars - apparently going to a charity named Paris' pocket - for doing so.....why does wannabe's wanna follow Pamela Anderson like this, it's not like it REALLY did miracles for her career either..

ANYWAY - this film is rather poor, it promises a lot you don't get. Sure, you do get to see mrs. Hilton in the nude, you DO get to watch her perform a BJ, but really - this isn't worth the time nor the money.. This is really one of those "films" that actually begs to be downloaded from the internet, cause it's not worth a dime of your own hardearned money...

6/10 - because you STILL get to see Paris in the nude...

What I'm interested in is the fact that in Britain there is a CUT VERSION available:

How CAN this movie even be cut to begin with? It's a porn tape! If you cut out the hardcore you have the following scenes left:

• Paris Hilton making pouty lips at the camera - Paris Hilton in underwear for thirty seconds before having explicit sex - Paris Hilton saying "That's hawt" about a million times

It's rather unfortunate that such a big ordeal was made out of such a nasty and unexciting porno tape. Oh wow she's Paris Hilton so her sex tape is automatically controversial and the best ever made. News flash: IT SUCKS. Tommy Lee and Pam Anderson's was better.

Not that I have a habit of watching celebrity porno tapes (they're the only two I've seen, unless you count thirty seconds of the one with Brett Michaels), but I'm pretty sure watching some ugly dog have sex for 62 minutes with a guy who looks like a shaven mole rat isn't my idea of a provocative and erotic night in.

So this is Paree?

Paris Hilton is an attractive blonde with a keen figure. She was 19 when she and her lover filmed this homemade production. But she might as well have been 9 instead of 19.

Her lover Rick and Paris, or "Paree" as he calls her, act throughout like two kids playing Doctor in a sandbox. They coyly enact the universal ritual in which the horny male pursues the shy female. "You like that ****, don't you?", asks Rick. "Ewwww, no!," squeals Paree.

Behind the role enactment, neither is particularly shy or modest. The film opens with Paree filming a close up of her own respectable breasts. (Someone had said her breasts "had veins" and she wanted it on record that they were veinless.) Showing Paree rolling around nekkid on the hotel bed, Rick asks, "Do I have the hottest bitch in town, or what?" The male keeps growling playfully about sex. The female responds by talking about love as if she knew what it meant. In the end sex and love diffuse into one another and everything else melts together in a fluid resolution of any oppositions expressed earlier.

I'd never seen Paris Hilton before and had only heard of her through brief references on TV news and photos in news magazines. I missed out, therefore, on the bonus points that come from the titillation of seeing a celebrity exposed. If you haven't seen the soap operas in which she's appeared or any of the movies she's made, she's just another stranger in a skin flick.

And how IS the skin flick? Not too bad as cinema verite. It's like watching Andy Warhol's "Blue Movie" in which two kids joke around and have sex on screen. Unfortunately this one has about a third of its footage filmed through what seems to be some kind of the military night scope that turns everything a different shade of green. It's hard to make out what's going on. In addition, when a participant looks up at the camera his or her tapidums gleam like electric arcs. The phrase that comes to mind is "a deer caught in the headlights," except that these two are anything but frozen in tonic immobility.

The -- uh -- the most important part of the film is shot clearly, thank heavens. Women may be able to fake it but men can't. On the whole it's worth watching, even aside from the raw sex. I just love to see the young folks enjoy themselves, frisking around, capering, winking at the camera.

Let's see Paris, not Rick

Someone should edit the endless streams of Rick Solomon talking to introduce each of the four or five videos. We bought the video to see Paris do it, not watch Rick Solomon talk about making the film all the time. As it was pointed out, Paris is profiting from the movie after suing Solomon for stealing it. It was not any improvement over the pay per view website pictures of the same videos, as small and tiny as they are and unsuitable for family viewing on my kitchen computer. On the TV screen we can also see more of the technical flaws. There wasn't enough new material to record a full length DVD, or even 30 minutes worth. A better approach might be to download the hotel heiress website to a portable device or DVD so it will play on your TV set.(It might not be possible) The five bonus features on the second disc were quite good and the only virtue to a DVD version of Hilton's five minute scenes, even though they were from other films and had nothing to do with her. The Paris tapes- one oral scene: 8 stars. The bonus features: 8 stars. Rick Solomon introducing scenes, much too long: 0 stars. The five stars listed here is for the main feature only.

Excellent Learning Material

This is a fabulous guide of how NOT to have sex. It is a great example of a sex act that involves only the man having pleasure. Guys, sex should be sensual, it should bring all kinds of sensations in a woman - moreover, it should be more than just plane intercourse. Here we can only see plain friction moves. The people don't touch at all besides their genital parts. I suppose this must have been a terribly boring, and consequently unsatisfying experience for the woman. This movie is a guide of how to BORE A WOMAN COMPLETELY. This guy is COMPLETELY CLUELESS of how to have sex and it makes me laugh that such a guy actually got to make out with her. All the time he's trying to act like a macho and is concentrated only on himself. He doesn't even listen when the woman tells him that it hurts her. What a catastrophe! This is terrible. You should NEVER behave this way. Just watch her trying to get close to him, grab his hand or kiss him. She is trying to do that, while the guy just ignores it and continues the senseless pumping. I just can't watch it. Sex should be fun FOR BOTH. Sex should be based on a connection. Sex should be sensual. Just imagine the difference between pumping with nothing else and having a sensual act (involving all senses) - touching each other, smelling, being close to each other while having sex, so that people touch each other with different parts of their bodies. Just imagine it. She would know how to do it, but the guy doesn't listen to her. This only made me realize, that if such a horrible-in-bed guy can be that cocky and self-confident, winning all the women, then this gives me the confidence to be even more cocky - because now, after watching this movie, I know my true value..

Watch it and learn.

The girl has got talent

This video offcourse is a curiosity item offcourse. To compare it to scripted movies is not the thing one should do. This is a nothing more than an amateur home video, so don't expect better quality then the average "american's funniest home video"

That aside, this is a fun tape to watch. Instead of fake orgasms and bad acting we get to see two people having fun with each other in a very natural way. That one of the two is the world famous barely legal and wealthy Paris Hilton is what makes this tape special and different from the average home video tape shot by a couple.

Well, we get to see Paris from all angles, and she sure knows how to give a guy oral pleasure. It does help that on the tape she looks more attractive than in her outings in other media, I guess that's mainly because here's she's really herself instead of someone knowing that an audience is watching. The girl has got talent, maybe she should consider making these movies as a profession.

Poor little rich girl looking for love in all the wrong places

I'm surprised that none of the earlier reviewers commented on the element of sadness in this video. We see a girl craving for a little tenderness and getting precious little of it from a guy who was obviously thinking about just one thing: the hundreds of thousands of dollars that he has undoubtedly already made off this video.

The video consists of the following parts: - Paris holding the camera and filming her own gorgeous chest and face. Is she relishing in her beauty? Or is she feeling uncertain? What audience does she have in mind? Just Rick? Just herself? Pure speculation: Is she under any kind of influence? As some point, she squeezes her upper arms together, pushing her breasts together. Does she feel her breasts are too small? My opinion: your breasts are just perfect as they are! I don't think I've ever seen more beautiful breasts.

• An infrared scene. The TV is on at the start and at the end. Some kind of comedy or gangster movie with strong language. Rick stroking his considerable-length manhood. Paris is behind the camera. She's laughing. Either she thinks the scene is ridiculous, or she feels nervous, or she's laughing at Rick for being so proud of his manhood.

Now she turns the camera onto herself, as she lies down on her back. Her breasts look veiny, but I think that's sexy because it means they're real and not made of silicon! It's not like the veins are sticking out or anything.

Penetration. Rick admonishes Paris to remove her hand so the camera can capture the penetration. Rick cares a great deal about the "quality" of the film! Paris fondles her clitoris during the intercourse. I'm completely in the unknown about this kind of thing, but can I infer from this that she is less excited about Rick than she could be? During the act, she looks sweetly into the camera a number of times. Is she trying to please Rick this way? - The third part is a repeat of the first.

• A short shot of Paris holding the camera filming herself while in a plane.

• Paris filming herself: stepping out of a car, filming her gorgeous bikini-clad chest.

• Now perhaps the most interesting scene from a psychological point of view: the bathroom scene where Rick, clad in a bathrobe, films Paris wearing lingerie panties and bra. Rick is being quite brazen, calling Paris a "beautiful beast", asking her to take off her panties. Paris is not happy with being treated as merely an object of lust. She tells Rick she wants to hear him say he loves her. I don't think he loves her at all. I think that, if anything, he loathes her. However, she's so desperate for tenderness that she will go far in trying to please him. This is quite a touching scene as Rick coldly humiliates Paris, dollar signs in his eyes; you can see the hurt in her eyes.

At some point he says: "Let me see the pussy. I'm your best friend." He's giggling throughout, realizing just how low he's sinking, giggling away his shame. He's ruthlessly manipulating her loneliness. I sincerely hope this guy was not her best friend at that point.

• Then there's a scene where they're having intercourse. She's saying "Oww" repeatedly. Is this because she is not sufficiently excited? Is she going along just to please Rick? She says "I love you" repeatedly but he doesn't reply.

In the final scene, she performs a fellatio on him, trying at least to get something back from him.

My heart goes out to Paris Hilton. I wish her courage and strength. I advise her to try and get out of the spotlights for a while and do something that could get her in touch with "normal" people.

Better than expected

After the huge disappointment of the Pam & Tommy video, I wasn't expecting much here. However, it turned out to be a much better tape than Pam's. For one, nearly the entire tape features the creepily-alluring Paris Hilton in some form of undress, even when she isn't having sex. The two also have the good sense to employ a tripod for some of the scenes (I abhor the "holding the camera in your partner's face while going at it" film-making method).

Is this as professionally made as a real porn film? Of course not. Don't expect high-quality production values. It's two people taping themselves. However, it at least lives up to its hype in that it focuses on the sex.

MUCH BETTER THAN ANTICIPATED

I had seen a potion of the bootleg night vision scene before but this movie was digitally cleaned up in the low lite scenes(the green tint removed) and extra scenes in the light were added. Rick adds commentary before each of the 4 scenes and some of them are interesting, but his gum chewing was annoying. The scenes in the hotel are good amateur video, with good and bad camera angles and lighting. The last scene is my favorite. Paris certainly has talent in that one, and no acting was needed. The DVD comes with some extra scenes from the companies other videos and a separate bonus video of small snippets. All in all if you like Paris Hilton, you will enjoy her talents.

Why the DVD is better than online clip

The DVD "1 Night in Paris" contains a digitally enhanced version of the sex tape. I am not allowed to say where you can get this DVD from because of IMDb. It also includes her giving oral in full-color. And it has behind-the-scenes footage of Paris helping the director set up the camera, therefore she was not recorded without her knowledge!

She also receives oral in full-color. If you like Paris & want to see her in full-color, then check out this DVD. This DVD will not disappoint you. So I urge you to check it out. I can not go into more detail because of IMDb's guidelines. In addition to Paris's scenes, there are 4 bonus scenes starring Monica Sweetheart in a DP, Randi Wright, & 2 other adult film stars.

So in conclusion, those are the reasons why you most definitely get the DVD instead of the online video.

The title is probably the most brilliant thing about this.

Probably more famous and hyped than the Pamela Anderson/Tommy Lee stolen honeymoon sex tape, here it is; the notorious Paris Hilton sex-tape.

When you have no talent at anything and you're a bored, rich, young, famous girl and you're desperate for attention and fame, what do you do? You make a porn video. At least that's what Paris Hilton and her then boyfriend Rick Salomon did.

Although not as 'hot', shocking and much talked about when it first hit the web, "1 Night in Paris" still remains an unique and amazing piece of work. Not in terms of quality of course but more because of the fact that it's the 'private' tape of a well known public figure; Paris Hilton. It makes you wonder what everyone involved was thinking. I mean after all, these persons have parents and expectingly still a sense of dignity. But fact is that this movie has done no bad for Paris' career. She's more in the news than ever before and even got some acting jobs and a signing career after this. Would she still have gotten all these jobs if the tape never existed? I don't think anyone can answer that but it most definitely at least helped her 'career' and definitely satisfied her lust for media-attention...for the moment at least. Makes you wonder what she will come up next when her acting and signing career dry-up.

As for the movie itself, it's sort of funny to see how Paris has more eye for the camera than for her bed-partner. Poor Rick Salmon. Paris has more the hots for the camera than for him but that is no surprise really. If you want to watch this movie pure for its adult elements, you're definitely better of watching other adult (amateur)movies. The movie and the sex in it really isn't of very high quality. No real passion or spectacular love making here.

It's hard to rate a thing like this, since it isn't really a movie or documentary (somehow this movie is credited as one over here.) or whatever else. It also isn't of very high quality, in terms of both camera-work and lighting and stuff as well as the adult elements. It however is a well known and hyped piece of work, since it features a well known person in it. I therefor rate this a 'safe' 6. This movie will probably go down in history and will be remembered and talked about for years to come.

I love Paris and I think she is beautiful and I loved the movie! She's so hot!! I can't understand why people are saying bad things about her...it has to be because they are jealous!!!!!! Anyone in her position would do the same thing!!! She is hot and funny and rich... DON"T HATE.... She is absolutely adorable and I love her. I would buy her movie again and again!! I truly think it was worth the money and we do get what we paid for!! Paris was young and inexperienced so be easy on her. How could anyone hate her she is so cute!!! I really do not agree with her drinking and driving though, that isn't cute at all! I don't understand why she didn't hire a driver if she was planning on going out and drinking!! I still love her and hope to see a lot more of her in the future!!!!

This video is a pretty waste of much tape and time... Not to mention, much more Paris Hilton than I wanted to see! Rick Salomon? Let's try and hire professionals, would be my advice.

Even if one were to look at this film--a home video that should have been kept at home, and attempt to break it down structurally, you would definitely rise with less than you invested.

And the budget on this piece most likely seemed, to me, to be the cost of expressive drugs and alcohol. This little video is shot poorly, has no story--and everyone knows even good pornography films have plots! Even it does take place in a football team's locker room.

This is simply another display of 'immature Paris narcissism'. Can I trademark that?!

While this film's premise is quite promising, the enduring footage was unfortunately not quite what could have been accomplished. The dialogue is probably the worst part of this film and really could have used a rewrite. Also some of the lighting used is sub-par, even for an independent production such as this. Acting was par for the course, however camera-work wasn't too flash.

***SPOILERS*** As is most certainly expected, the two leads do indeed have intercourse.

All in all, a poor end result considering what could have been done with the film and also the hype surrounding it's release. 69/200.
