Trivia:

The only two actresses considered for the role of Kendall Casablancas were Heather Graham and Charisma Carpenter. Graham was working on "Emily's Reasons Why Not" (2006), and Carpenter was an actual fan of "Veronica Mars", so she ended up being cast in the role.

Goofs:

Continuity: When Veronica wakes up after having crashed her car in "Leave it to Beaver", she is shown to be wearing her seat belt. When she immediately reaches to grab the tapes and her cell phone, however, her seat belt is no longer on.

If they put on a show and nobody watches, is it really on?

It's a complete mystery why this show hasn't been canceled yet.

It's really badly written (if you want proof, look at the main page where there is a description of the lead character: all attitude and no content, just like the show) and has failed to grab an audience in spite of repeated promotional efforts.

Last week it got a whooping 0.7 rating in the "all important" young adults demographic and fewer than 2 million viewers in the much more important (but less prone to PR spin) overall audience. If they put on a show and nobody watches, is it really on? Who knows what possessed UPN to burn good money after bad, but now that they are merging with WB they have a golden opportunity to get rid of this dead weight in their programming lineup.
