playing on a constant loop somewhere in hell
movieman_kev12 October 2005
This is a horrible horrible lame ass comedy with nothing funny about it in the least. It's about two elderly unattractive women playing high school girls. One loves a TV show called "Chick Boxer" which we never actually see aside from one small snippet. It was the worst thing I've ever experienced, if you ever find yourself in Hell, the ninth circle will be playing this film on a constant unending loop. The only good scene is one of Michele Bauer at the VERY end of the picture in a scene completely unrelated to the rest of the movie in any way shape or form completely nude for absolutely no reason. But by that point you would have in all likelihood have pulled a Kurt Cobain on yourself (and by that I mean having Courtney Love come over and shoot you in the face)

My Grade: F

DVD Extras: Intro by the bad movie police; Commentary by JR Bookwalter; 2 featurettes (the Chickboxer Story, James Black & Chickboxer); Stills Gallery; and Original Trailer

you don't need to see this

Chickboxer is a shot on video home movie that was put out to make a buck. You can't believe how bad this is, trust me I saw it and it scared me - it even opened up old wounds. Something about two ugly girls who can't act taking karate lessons and I don't know. Things happen before Michelle Bauer (aka porn star Pia Snow) shows up top less at the end this. Its a horrible horrible movie that is now being re released as part of a dreadful series called Bad Movie Police where awful wrap around footage of cops inflicting bad movies on people precedes each movie. Its like giving a paper cut to a man who was just hit by a bus, it just makes everything worse.

Warning: Spoilers
The phrase "Chickboxer" refers to a TV series which stars hard/soft core star Michelle Bauer. A small town in Ohio has a crime wave. Julie Suscinski plays Kathy, a big fan of Chickboxer. She is one of the unconvincing group of high school kids who look in their 30's with multiple chins and beginning crow's feet. Inspired by the mock TV series, Kathy enrolls in a karate class where she has trouble kicking her foot above her knee. The movie also boosts perennial bad actor Tom Hoover.

The acting was very bad, by design. The dialogue was cheesy and at times the movie was really funny. A worthy installment for Bad Cop Movie. In spite of what the Bad Movie Police say, I liked the heavy metal soundtrack with bad lyrics.

Bad Language (no f-bombs) and a sex/nude scene at the end aka Michelle Bauer, possibly during the days when she used the name Pia Snow. 5 stars on the bad movie scale (Not a serious film for serious viewers.)
