Storyline
Plot Summary |
This show follows the day to day experiences for the staff of the family run Poway Bernardo Mortuary in Poway, California, a San Diego suburb. The show takes a behind the scenes look inside the embalming and preparation room as well as how the staff deals with and relates to the families of those they serve. The staff includes middle sister/head embalmer Shonna, her sisters and co-workers Melissa and Emily, and their former professional boxer father Chuck, who also works at the funeral home. It also includes Melissa's ex-fiancee, mortuary director Rick. Also featured are funeral director and Star Trek fan David as well as funeral director and apprentice embalmer John. Matt, an ordained minister who is the newest member of the staff, is introduced during the second season. Written by Dan |
