Am I alone in watching this?
Wizard-83 February 2017
I found a copy of this movie at a dollar store for a real low price, so I thought I'd give it a chance; there are diamonds in the rough known as independent cinema. Sadly, the movie turned out to be quite rough going for me. The first thirty or so minutes of the movie are unbelievably boring; it simply consists of the characters talking, talking, talking, and more talking with hardly anything that would be considered an advance in the plot. The next sixty or so minutes do have the plot advance... but only a little bit. There are still long periods of conversations that are just as boring as what was said in the first thirty minutes despite four-lettered words and other strong words used. Eventually I pretty much gave up on the movie trying to deliver on any level, and it was a relief when it came to an end. Is there anything of merit to be found here? Well, the actors do try hard (though some are still clearly amateur in acting talent.) And for what was a real cheapie, the photography is generally good, though some scenes are underlit so much that it's kind of hard to figure out what is going on at times. In the end, I don't exactly feel privileged to have seen a movie that (judging from me being the first user reviewer here) to date apparently no one else has seen.
