SPOILER!! Squeezing this claustrophobic, disturbing epic into under two minutes is the work of a genius. alright it's a bit art-house in places, but this worked for me. The 'victim' is a monster, ugly as hell in close-up, and this really renders real the backhistory of abuse hinted at by the protagonist. he in turn is a nervous young kid who has no idea how to wreak revenge, even though he's dreamt about it for ever. so when it's revealed as a water pistol - we laugh and call him pussy. until we see it was filled with petrol...
