Peak Kylie- makes you want to get up and dance.
MarkPeterD8 September 2018
This is a great concert DVD.

One of the best ever filmed of any concert. Up there with Stop Making Sense and U2 in Chicago.

Kylie is at her peak (her "Can't get you out of my head" driven comeback) . Director Hamish Hamilton does a great job in one of his early productions. Kylie is well served by a great band on form and superb musical production, and her sexiest dancers and best choreography she ever had.

The packed Sydney audience are having enormous fun and the running order starts light and frothy, moves smoothly through a nostalgic medely and then onto a harder-core disco funk note ("Butterfly" etc ) that is simply great music, well performed.

Whether you like Kylie a little or a lot I defy you not to get up and dance at the infectious energy captured on this excellent DVD.

Kylie: On A Night Like This Tour
iceskater4713 August 2007
Warning: Spoilers
This concert is the best. The "On A Night Like This" tour is the supporting tour for Kylie's album "Light Years". The album and tour made Kylie a #1 idol worldwide.

I remember seeing this tour live in Melbourne in 2001, and ever since I've been a Kylie fan - and I didn't even know any of the songs back then.

This concert is one of the best energetic concerts ever to come to stage. It starts out with an overture of Kylie's career - then to a ship for her song "Loveboat" in which she enters on an anchor. Then followed by her great song "Koocachoo" which is then finished with an earlier hit "Hand On Your Heart". After "Hand On Your Heart", Kylie welcomes the audience and sings an impressive "Put Yourself In My Place".

Kylie then leaves the stage and re-enters wearing a flaming red suit - for the #1 hit "On A Night Like This" which then follows on to a medley, including "Step Back In Time", "Never Too Late", "Wouldn't Change A Thing", "Turn It Into Love" and a energetic performance of "Celebration". The act is calmed down with "Can't Get You Out Of My Head" which then is finished with "Your Disco Needs You".

Kylie leaves the stage and re-enters wearing a white tux-like suit and sitting on an old-fashioned piano with her 2nd single "I Should Be So Lucky" which comes towards "Better The Devil You Know" followed by an amazing performance of "So Now Goodbye". Kylie and her female dancers leave the stage and they re-enter with the female dancers in a bra and undies and Kylie in a hi-cut dress, singing the hit Olivia Newton-John song "Physical" - but in a new way.

Afterwards, Kylie's male dancers come to the stage with a great performance, giving Kylie a chance to change, when Kylie re-enters the stage in a diamanté' shirt and metallic pants, singing the song "Butterfly" which is followed by "Confide In Me". Kylie then sings the duet "Kids" with her backing vocals. The act is finished with the hit song "Shocked".

After a few minutes, Kylie's dancers return to the stage wearing blue and white suits. Kylie then appears wearing a blue and white dress for the song "Light Years" which is then followed by "What Do I Have To Do?".

An amazing encore of the #1 hit "Spinning Around" starts when Kylie's dancers come to the stage - the girls in hot pants and a top and the boys in track-pants and sneakers. Kylie then elevates to the stage wearing a lovely white costume of a white top with diamanté's and matching hot pants.

This concert is the best. With heaps of special features - it's definitely going to leave you "shocked" after-wards.

Enjoy!
