Good for a laugh

Clever. Funny. Just the right length. Those words pretty much sum up this film. It is clever in a couple of ways, firstly in the way that the Absolute Vodka bottle is seen in the background - not in your face, but also discrete enough to be completely missed. Secondly, its clever in the way that it pretty much covers the content of every other Bollywood story in 10 minutes: lots of songs and a centuries old story line (it only misses the final showdown between the hero and the fatherly villain). The comedic value is also pretty good, illustrated through plenty of pelvis thrusts from the beer belly-ed hero and hyperbolic facials from all and sundry. Lastly, seeing as I was shown this in my Marketing Lecture, it was definitely worth the watch.

Most entertaining advertisement ever.

I was given this musical on a promotional DVD, and ever since I first watched it I have loved every second of it.

While it does have the over-the-top dance scenes that most people would have come to love and expect from a movie like this, there are so many other rich aspects that appeal to the viewer. From the story of the rich girl falling in love with the hairdresser, to the competition to see who in the audience can find the most subtle advertisements for Absolute vodka in the background of the musical, this short film is absolute gold.

Even if people don't care about the near-hidden advertisements, watching Mulit is an definite must if you love good, cheesy, entertainment.
