Italia '90 in a nutshell
Maul-823 December 2005
Warning: Spoilers
Experience the highs - Gary Winston Lineker in all his glory, Roger Milla with the legs of a 25 year old but the mind of a 38 year old, and Salvatore 'Toto' Schillaci's golden boot performances. Experience the lows - Rudi Völler's 'goals', Paul Gascoigne's tears, and Chris Waddle's mullet. Possibly the best world cup ever. Would have only been made better if England had (deservedly) beaten eventual winners West Germany in the semi-final (a cruel deflected free-kick resulting in West Germany's goal before Lincs equalised). I'm sure we would have then stuffed the Argies in the final. A roller-coaster ride of a world cup, with wave (103) of emotion (98.3) that will leave you in a fever (105).

An they had 'Ciao' the mascot.
