A good show, still far from perfect

"A team of young girls who fight demons with steel, steam-powered mechas and work undercover as actors performing theatrical plays" may sound as a ridiculous premise for a show, but Japan seems to have an unlimited source of never-considered-before plots.

This show, however, is a good combination of both theater life and mecha action. Some of the episodes are focused on the drama of the characters and their careers as actresses and others are more into fighting demons and slaying monsters.

The fighting scenes are well done, with enough action, blood and limb severing to satisfy all your violence needs.

The drama takes the viewer to the hardships of being famous actresses in a city as big as Tokyo. Besides, the show presents the personal drama, the fears and roughness that the characters went through their lives.

Overall, there is the idea of teamwork and friendship in all aspects of life; throughout the whole 25 episodes persists the main metaphor that defines everything: life, battlefield and stage are the same and should be faced the same way.

If you haven't seen this show, give it an opportunity. You won't be disappointed.
