What can i say to this
sam-bastin17 June 2008
If you like this sort of thing then its good, it leaves absolutely nothing to the imagination. I thought I could watch this with morbid curiosity, but after ten minutes I had to switch it off. The soundtrack is truly awful as its like hard trance. I rated 1 out of 10 purely on the content in my opinion, i have seen a lot and this shock and may i say it disturbed me. I wouldn't have thought that things on this film could ever be recorded. It has been seen on films like the SAW series amongst others. But knowing this is actually real, it has a somewhat different effect!

Watch this if you want to see things you have never seen before or will again.

sensational trash

This movie is evil voyeurism. The hardcore music makes it seems like the realisators wants us to enjoy these horrible compilations of images even make us impatient to the traumatic scene that's about to happen. Let me tell you, reading about someone getting his arms cut off and seeing it is very very different and is difference you don't want to see.

Not for the feint-hearted
hagoo0011 December 2010
'Banned! In America' is a collection of footage showing the most gruesome, darkest side of humanity. From public executions, to suicides, to our daily slaughtering of animals, the ultimate goal of this video is to show the truly grotesque reality that people face everyday, which is almost entirely hidden from the Western world. The music is mostly unchanging, and the commentary is quite monotone, but it's the only way to do this sort of viewing justice. To have catchy music and quirky commentary would simply be offensive to the victims portrayed in the film.

I rated this video 10 not because I enjoy seeing gore (in fact it was very difficult to get through the whole thing, I had to take frequent breaks) but because I commend the creators for their exceptional research of footage which has been intentionally buried over time. Their goal was admirable - these are real people, and we all should be aware of their plight.

I stress; NOT for the feint-hearted.
