A must see!

An absolute sizzler of a show, if you haven't seen this show yet, I highly recommend it, it's hilarious. I had to press rewind quite a few times, I was laughing so much I kept missing bits. It captures stand-up performances from the comedians and is a non-stop laugh-fest in the highest sense of the term. The crew, well I love them, they're fantastic "Geniais" like they lowly call themselves. Who else would think about those stories, who else could interpreter those sketches, it demands lots of sense of humor and real hard-working. From nothing they've done so much. Please keep on good working, can't wait for the "Meireles" series.

A milestone in national humor.

When comedians Ricardo Araújo Pereira, Tiago Dores, José Diogo Quintela and Miguel Góis formed the quartet "Gato Fedorento" they were, without being able to imagine, to take a step that revolutionized the Portuguese way of doing comedy. Portuguese humor was then summed up in a few time-worn shows, a handful of equally empty comedians of new ideas, and many small stand-up comedians who survived with eschatological jokes, unorthodox or loaded with profanities. These four masters were able to reinvent national humor through the old situational joke, of a well-mannered humor that has grace. This series is, therefore, very striking for Portuguese television and for national humor.

Simply the Best Comedy show made in Portugal EVER! Herman José was known as the best comedian in Portugal, and yes he does have a lot of value, but guess who writes his jokes? The "Gato Fedorento" crew.

Born from a web-log, "gato fedorento" was originally in it's TV format a piece in another show, "Perfeito Anormal", and later became a show on it's own.

The show is in it's third season, after 1st season - Fonseca, 2nd season - Meireles, now its time for season Barbosa.

The creators gave all the characters the same last name out of laziness and guess what? it worked so well they made the same in the following seasons.

This indeed, one hell of a show, its very very funny. It's the finest Portuguese humor.I highly recommend the DVD of "Gato Fedorento". For those who don't know, the origin of the name, is from one of the musics of "Friends", which is titled "Smelly Cat". This show brought to Portuguese humor, a fresh air, and before this show, the humor was boring and very uninteresting. The actors of this show, even without experience as actors, did a very good show, and has beaten very people with a large experience as actors. I hope to see more projects from this fantastic crew.
