Chucklesome stuff.
Stevieheuge30 July 2004
Yes, this is a couple of hours of footage of rather silly chaps jumping off things, getting drunk/stoned/peed on, whatever. Obviously, this is funny to most people, including me. Each Steve-o DVD is basically a lower budget version of Jackass, with more trashing of hotel rooms etc than actual stunt-work, if you can call it that. It's nonetheless entertaining though, as long as you laugh with pity at these hapless gents, rather than look up to them... - Take Heed Kiddies!

There is some stuff on this DVD however, that is a little too much. The sight of Nick Dunlap getting wasted on Jack Daniels and trashing a bar filled with nice people while his buddies laugh isn't funny - they just make themselves look like immature nasty little men - which most of them are. Presenting footage of these moments takes away from the healthier illusion that these guys have good hearts, and like to goof around without harming anyone else, so you feel less inclined to laugh for a while afterwards when you realize that they have a bit of a crappy side to their personalities.

Steve-O and his buddies are not big, and they're not clever, but they can entertain, and they are willing to use pee-pee and pooh-pooh to get the desired effect - what more can you ask? If your under 80 years old, and aren't into antiques and whatnot, this should raise a laugh or two, or at least make you thankful you've never taken PCP...

This is the Best Jackass Related Movie Since CKY2K
reverendtom9 April 2004
This is a brilliant piece of work right here. I have watched this probably 20 times and it still cracks the hell out of me. I've seen the other 2 Steve O's and all the CKYs and this kills all of em cept CKY2K, which is, of course a classic. BUT, as for post Jackass stuff, this is the best thing I've seen from any of these guys, Bam included. It is just incredible debauchery from start to finish. Pour yourself a tall one or 12 and crack the hell up to this.

Probably the wildest thing Steve-o ever put out
dhoebee-029559 August 2018
I remember watching this during my high school years.

Steve-o and a part of the Jackass crew go on a world tour and wreak havoc everywhere they go. It's exactly what you'd expect: everything is wild, crazy, sometimes gross, and very funny. This video has the R-rated Bugs Bunny humor that we all know from Jackass, but with a hard edge to it.

Things get so out of control that two people end up in jail by the time the credits roll. They destroy half a restaurant in front of staff and the people eating there at one point. Steve-o smuggles drugs across borders in an airplane. They thrash a rental van. There's a guy who beats someone over the head with a skateboard. Someone's face gets set on fire. It's pure insanity.

Plenty of crazy party footage, too. This video is probably one of the best documentations of what an out-of-control, rock N roll lifestyle looks like. If they had cameras on early days Guns N Roses in the 80s, they'd get similar footage, I'm sure.

10/10 in the "Jackass" category.

Steve-O makes people happy
rps4-14 January 2004
Most of this dvd was shot in Scandinavia and the British Isles, with some Girls Gone Wild-type Spring Break interludes in Florida and Cancun. Less than half of the footage is from Steve-O's live show; most of the action occurs in hotels, planes, and buses. The production values are decent, with competent editing and professional graphics. Director/producer Nick Dunlap is also an active and belligerent participant, making Out on Bail a harder-edged and more improvisational affair than the Jeff Tremaine-helmed Jackass movie. I mail-ordered my copy, and it contains a great bonus disc with around 1/2 hour of a messianic, delusional, feces-flinging, PCP-feuled Steve-O.

*** out of **** (extra points for the bonus disc)
