Sex & Nudity

- Some nude magazines are discussed.
- There's a sex scene where we see a naked lady and naked guy. We really only see the lady's breasts and maybe very briefly the guy's manhood.
Violence & Gore

- Teen hoods and gang violence.
- Lots of shoving, punching, kicking, grabbing, and knocking people to ground.
- In one scene hoods smash light bulbs in a train station to make it sound like gunshots to take advantage of people.
- Very little blood and gore.
- Some yelling and screaming too.
- A boy lights papers on fire. Towards the end of the film he lights a thick stack of newspapers on fire and then a couch and the entire building nearly goes.
Profanity

- Although there are only about 50 F-words (some with suffix you and prefix mother), there is a ton of other language like bitches, $hits, @$$.
- About 50% of this language is uttered by teens and young kids (who don't even have their adult teeth yet). There are several short video clip scenes where these little kids rap using trash talk and utter strings of nasty language.
Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

- Mild/infrequent.
- In one scene we a stressed mother grab a can of something. It seems like beer but she shares some with her son and it turns out to be Diet Pepsi.
Frightening & Intense Scenes

- The dad in the film suffers from a stroke, and his insurance is running out so the family has to take him home and watch over him.
- The fights are quite intense but people make it through alive and pretty well, although they are attacked after falling to the ground.
- A mother and son constantly violently argue with strong language.
- After she finds out what he's been the sequence is quite intense but we get through it without any beatings.
- A mother and mother also fight.
- The ending of the film has quite an interesting twist to it.
