Sex & Nudity

  • Several men sit in a bathtub in a bathhouse, implied to be nude but only shown from the waist up.
  • A man gets out of bed nude in front of a maid, but then hides himself. She then tells him that she removed his clothes when she put him to bed. He is only visible from the waist up.
  • A husband and wife kiss passionately a few times throughout. (tongues used)
  • A woman and a man she is dating kiss.

Violence & Gore

  • A woman is chased by and then fights two men. She hits them several times with a shovel, but is then stoped when she is held at gunpoint.
  • In the first scene, a man shoots off the hats of several police officers, and then a large gunfight breaks out. A foot chase and several fights, including with swords, follow. A man spits out several of his teeth after being hit in the mouth. No serious injuries are shown.
  • A catholic priest as a school room teacher tries to hit a young boy as punishment, but the boy runs from him and eventually hits the teacher. Meant to be humorous.
  • Several armed men arrive at a house and hold a woman hostage. He then threatens to shoot the woman and her husband but is stopped. A large fight ensures, with many gunshots and sword fights. Several people are shot, stabbed, or lit on fire. A barn catches on fire. The man is shot off screen, but a wound is visible in his back and he dies in his on screen.
  • Two men hit each other while riding horses, causing them to fall to the ground hard.
  • Two dead men are briefly shown laying on the floor. No blood.
  • A berry extended climactic battle near the end of the film, including several fights.
  • Several men are blown up, but not shown.
  • A young boy is slightly injured while fighting two men. Blood is shown on his sleeve.
  • Many deaths through sword fighting and shooting, but no blood is shown.
  • A man trapped on the front of a train hits a barrier (not shown).
  • A drop of nitro-glycerin hits a man's forehead; he explodes (not clearly shown).
  • The only instance of blood is when a man is brutally shot in the back.

Profanity

  • 'H*ll' is said once.
  • 'Son of a b*tch' is said once in Spanish, but subtitled.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Alejandro and Tornado (Alejandro's horse) drink heavily in one scene. Alejandro is drinking because Elena want's to leave him for Armand.
  • People drink at a party as part of a wine tasting.
  • Elena she say she needs a pipe to distract a man. In a later scene she is given a pipe and smokes it reluctantly, coughing several times.
  • A woman asks for a glass of tequila.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Intense action in the last half hour, including fighting, explosions, and perilous moments.
  • A man is angry at God and yells at him in a church.
  • The many chases and fights throughout are meant to be intense.
  • Some scenes of a husband and wife arguing.
  • The film focuses on stopping a dangerous and violent plot.
  • The many explicit and implied deaths may be disturbing for some viewers.
