We hear that the married couple next-door had a daughter who died of leukemia. The mother breaks down crying when it's discovered that she has a shrine of old stuffed animals and family photos for her daughter in the living room; the daughter's bald head from chemotherapy is also seen.

A policeman who Emily liked is attacked and killed in front of her as he tries to help her. Later on, a female psychologist who Emily has befriended is also attacked, but survives. Emily is disturbed by the whole thing.

The whole movie is quite intense and psychological throughout.

This movie is a suspenseful thriller, and there are many frightening moments that could make someone jump.

There are lots of very intense scenes and jump scares.
