day time big night time small ha ha ha

This is really a nonsense film . It is neither meant for children nor for biggies. Such a third rate non sense movie. Really , if any one can watch the movie it is great. Naani is a small kid who gets raps on his head for every thing he does. He gets disgusted and runs away from home and meets a SCIENTISH (not scientist, a kids may be able to spell only in that way). He calls him as science. This guy turns him into a young 28 year old guy by putting some mantra or some sort of formula. Cool isn't it. Also our Naani has got a fine heroine whom he marries from he is BIG! (i.e. in the night time!!) I could no longer this crap any more. I would advise not to watch even on fourth of this non sense drama.

A Great Entertainment movie

At first I was not aware that The Movie was so old lately when i seen Mahesh Babu in it i was sure that the movie will be a good one since he is one of my favorite actors. This movie was very funny and entertaining from start till the end. Though it was not sensible but worth for a time pass. The acting was decent the story seems similar to the movie BIG but this was having some twist and turn. The actor is known was his good acting and looks. Scenes after the boy becomes big is very funny. There is something to learn about this movie. The songs are not very popular but decent to watch . The characters played means the casting was good and acting was super funny. This movie is silly but very funny. You will not stop laughing at the funny stupid scenes and acting . Go watch it now.

The most unique Super Star film till date !
sujathareddy-4732717 July 2021
I actually watched this film ages back, that's my childhood for sure & believe me, I don't remember anything other than the storyline that an 8 year old kid turns to a 28 year old man & changes himself for every 12 hours.

I heavily misunderstood NAANI at that time, in my childhood, as I'm not mature enough. Mahesh Babu once said in an interview that his father Superstar Krishna analysed NAANI in a perfect way by saying "If this film does well at the box office, Mahesh is not a STAR", True lines !

Forget about the general audience, for a true Mahesh Babu fan like me, It's an absolute treat to watch him performing like an innocent 8 year old kid!

What makes me more happy is the fact that Mahesh chosen this script after a huge commercial success like OKKADU & this is what makes him one of the most versatile actors of this generation.

Coming to the screenplay, yes it is really weak at times but the way SJ Surya designed the emotion between the child and his mother is beautiful, at the same time he started showing the cliche love track in parallel, I didn't get it in the first half but mannnn, then he gave a great pay off in the second half by defining love & motherhood ! ARR's music did great as usual.

What's so funny is every Kid should watch this film to get to know the greatness of their mothers at the same time this is not a film for kids 😂

& this film also remains special for many Mahesh Babu fans like me as this is the only film where we got see Mahesh in a double role atleast for sometime in the climax, but yes he played a double role as a child artist in the film KODUKU DHIDHHINA KAAPURAM itself!
