A low budget look at marijuana
tgumbert215 March 2006
This is supposed to be an action thriller, but it's so low budget and corny it's actually kind of boring. At the end there is a little documentary about marijuana and the prison system in the US, which apparently is what the movie is all about...I guess. There's a lot of good looking women, but no nudity, mild language, and everything about the movie just screams CHEAP!!! I don't know how I got a hold of it, but I always have hope for cheap movies, and that hope was killed when I watched this. Horrible writing, horrible effects, and almost horrible acting. I can't believe people make movies like this but I guess you have to start somewhere.

Can relate to The Ohio Valley
fightclub4390620 May 2006
Having gone to the Wheeling Island Race track to watch some Boxing, Shawn Detamore one of the main actors in the movie was on the evenings Fight Card (And successful in his bout), There his movie was being sold. I'm glad I decided to purchase a copy. I thought it was going to be a Low Budget Joke ! Afterward I actually Enjoyed it ! Having been made in the Ohio River Valley area I was able to relate to a lot of locations that the movie was made. Yea , sure the actors had some faulty moments but over all I myself will promote the movie and tell every one I know to check it out ! Id like to purchase more in fact to sell at my Martial Arts School in Bellaire,Ohio. For it being locally made and the lessons of Drug use in the movie. Lets see more movies made from this Area!

I give this movie a B.

I liked the movie. Granted some of the acting was not the best but on the other hand it didn't have a bunch of explosions or unrealistic BS. Probably the most realistic look at what happens to people who get locked up in this country I have yet seen. It was made guerrilla style for like 150 thousand bucks, but it was shot in 35 mm so it looks great. It actually has a lot of actors that I see in big budget movies in it, so the talent that worked in this film actually went on to do bigger and better things. It has great locations and great scenery and thought the plot does get a little bogged down, it has a good ending and great music. If you are lucky enough to find a copy, it's not a bad way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
