EXCELLENT use of everyday items as props. This is how you do a low (or NO) budget indie. It still has some of the typical pacing and tempo problems associated with american independent cinema but the HIGh concept and solid story-telling balances it out. Well, for me anyway. I look forward to seeing and hearing more from Mr. Mike.

Well done, but too conceptual

First of all, congrats to the filmmakers for getting it on cable. Unfortunately the concept is excessively convoluted for it to seem like much more than a film school final project.
I had such great hope for this short after seeing the opening title and the first few shots, but then it broke down into unecessary abstraction. With a few tolerated sound sync problems, the production of this short is nearly flawless. The director knows what he's doing, that's obvious. Hopefully his next project won't be so "deep".
