2 words: Pure Rock!
shotdowninflames21 August 2003
When I was first going to buy the dvd, I thought it would be a bad concert, since the band has been around for so long. But I was wrong this is one of the best concerts I have ever viewed. If youre lookin' for a pure solid rock perfomance, this is definately the dvd for you!

Angus too old for Rock??? No Way!!!
disneyland_one_fan2 June 2006
He is the god of true insanity! He is the one who inspired Van Halen, Metallica, Jack Black, UFO, Guns N' Roses, Jet, Judas Priests, Def Leppard, White Snake, Kiss, and ME!!! His name is Angus Young. He is over fifty years old but still can play as he did when he was eighteen when AC/DC was formed. The Stiff Upper Lip Tour was their most recent tour. It was in 2001 and the album was critically acclaimed all over the world. The tour featured the expected effects at any AC/DC concert including: Hells Bells, the Whole Lotta Rosie blow up women, the 21 firing cannons for the finale, and of course his famous strip act of country of origin. This concert also included more effects like the large Angus statue and the platform which extended into the crowd. Even though they are getting older, they still ROCK!!! (unlike the Stones, haha!) I'd highly recommend this DVD. It features their real old classics from the High Voltage album to the Back in Black album.

Warning: Spoilers
This is the ultimate AC/DC DVD from the ultimate rock band! The show is amazing, the band are on top form and this is my personal favourite setlist they have ever done. Shot Down in Flames as a second encore is a personal favourite for me! The show has plenty of visual effects too, which are better than any used on any of their other tours.

The filming seems particularly good too, perhaps this is down to the omission of David Mallet as director on this show, the camera actually shows who you want to see at the right time, giving a great atmosphere.

The best AD/DC yet!

Warning: Spoilers
Though the boys don't break any new ground with song selection, this concert from the huge Olympic stadium in Germany is the best AC/DC concert available for purchase.

The camera work and sound are first rate. The stage is, like all AC/DC stages, huge and fun. Brian Johnson doesn't lose his voice till halfway through the show.

From the opening walking Angus statue to big Rosie, the bell, and the guns, everything is top notch. Special features include a look at the boys backstage, except there isn't much audio of what they're saying, just music video-like clips.

Easily an A+ for fans!
