Invest a little more money for better movie
deangordon-118 September 2005
When I started watching this movie, I wanted to turn it off, but found myself continuing to watch. It's about a stripper (Kenya Moore) who tries to avenge the death of her brother who got killed by a mob boss while trying to leave the "car jacking" game. Hence the name "HOT PARTS", get it? Stolen car parts...Hot Parts...you just laugh when you think about it. Anyway, She enlists the help of her two best friends (Tami Roman and Jessica Lugo) who are also strippers. FAR FETCHED? maybe...but I've seen worse. Here's the thing...this movie has aspects of a plot, some decent performances by the actors, and just a tidbit of greatness...if they had just invested a tad more money towards production. The storyline could have been more believable if I hadn't seen the same cars over and over again...the performances would have been believable if Kenya didn't awake from a night's sleep in a full face of make up. Tami Roman, you might remember her from the Real World...reality star turned actress. I'd like to hate on her, but I can't. She was actually one of the best things about this movie. Well her, Antwan Tanner, and Sticky Fingaz. Tami is fine as hell in this movie and does a decent job gaging her performance when she has to been in a movie starring such mediocre talent!

Sometimes Bad is Good. This Ain't It!
derbycityusa6 December 2012
First of all, movies are supposed to employ actors. Actors are supposed to be able to act. This movie is living proof that this premise doesn't fit, when it comes to this movie... "Hot Parts". It's bad! And it's not the kind of bad that is good, it's the kind of bad that is B-A-D! No, on second thought that's not true. It's the kind of bad that is rotten, as in R-O-T-T-E-N! Everything connected with this movie as in the dialogue, plot, script, acting, etc., etc., etc is absolute garbage. The catch phrase "Hot Parts" revolves around the goofy story line that tries to use that catch phrase as a double edge sword when the plot revolves around (supposedly) sexy broads involved with stealing cars...as in Hot Parts. Get it, Hot Parts? Well, if you do, you're a lot smarter then me, because I never did!
