  Mr. Bean : [has his head stuck inside a huge turkey]  Yes, fine, thank you!

• [as Mr. Bean looks at the Airfix Classic Ship model kit Irma Gobb has given him for Christmas, he suddenly remembers her present] 

  Mr. Bean : Oh!

  [Irma squeaks and giggles with excitement as he reaches under the table] 

  Mr. Bean : I've got it here. There!

  [he hands her something thin and rectangular. She looks disappointed since she was expecting an engagement ring. She unwraps it - it's the cardboard display picture of a newly-engaged couple from the jewellery shop window. This is what he really thought she was pointing at earlier] 

  Mr. Bean : It's got this cardboard thing on the back so it can stand there, or it can stand there, or it can even stand just here. Brilliant. Isn't it brilliant?

  [as he goes back to his model kit, she gets up from the table and sits on the end of his bed. She starts crying] 

  Mr. Bean : Oh, no, no, don't cry. Oh! Oh, I forgot the main bit. There.

  [he takes a little box out of his pocket. She takes it and unwraps it, it's a ring box. She is overjoyed and hugs him. She opens the box and sees what looks like a ring inside, but as she takes it out... it's a hook] 

  Mr. Bean : [taking it off her and hooking it onto the display picture]  It hooks onto here. See?

  [he goes to hang it on the wall, then hears his front door slamming. She's gone. He looks surprised and confused] 

  Mr. Bean : What was wrong with it?

• Mr. Bean : Cup of tea?

  Irma Gobb : Ooh, yes! If you're having one.

  Mr. Bean : Well, I might.

• Mr. Bean : [Irma gets out Mr. Bean's Christmas present]  Oh! My present! Ooh!

  [before Mr. Bean can take his present from her, she holds it behind her back and puckers her lips, wanting a kiss. Confused by this, Mr. Bean just stands there puckering his lips instead of kissing her. Then he gives up] 

  Mr. Bean : [pointing behind her]  Oh, look.

  [she turns around to look, he snatches the present from her] 

• Mr. Bean : [crouching down by a mousehole in his flat]  Merry Christmas.

  [he takes a little piece of cheese out of the tiny stocking that he's hung up for the mice] 

  Mr. Bean : Oh, look!

  [he then puts a mousetrap in front of the mousehole and sticks the cheese on it]
