this movie was kind of a take on the need for human contact and intimacy essentially in a big grid-like city like new york. the artist, geoff lupo, makes fliers reading things like 'for sale: CRACKER -- 15 cents -- call 533-6235' and incorporates his art by drawing a picture of the cracker... or pen cap, or eraser, or paper bag. the surprising thing is that he receives hundreds of phone calls from people wondering what the fliers are all about, people wanting to make purchases, but mostly people just call to get a glimpse into the life of someone who would do something like sell crackers?

i enjoyed watching geoff... i liked his art, i thought he was imaginative and it was great, however there was an art collector that they focused on for a little bit that really just ruined the whole second half of the movie, rambling on about stupid things, using 10-cent words, he was F.O.S., and really just changed the whole feel of the movie. i really liked the innocence of the movie and timidness and then he came in and made it about rich manhattanites who get their 15 minutes on camera to talk and brag about themselves.

however, i still enjoyed this movie, i liked the ideas of the artist as well as the film makers, 8/10.
