- The beast is stabbed, shot with arrows (no blood shown), hung up by the neck and burned supposedly thought to be dead. No close ups shown of him burning. He comes back to life.
- Sven and the beast have a final sword fight over Freya with sad results.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- Freya assumes that Agnar died on the island fighting the beast. Has an emotional overtone at first but it's later revealed that he is still alive.
- Man is sick throughout the movie. You think he's gonna die. He doesn't.
- Sword fight towards the end is tense. Mentioned in the violence section, the woman that is stabbed dies cause she was trying to protect the beast. Very sad scene.
- Both the beast and Freya have flashbacks that trigger emotions.
- Tense moment when it is revealed who the beast is.
