A woman drinks while at dinner, and her boyfriend thinks that she will be drunk.

A man tricks another man into doing drugs while he is trying to stay clean. He vomits immediately after.

Two people smoke a joint at the edge of a bed, and later mention several times that they are high.

Joel asks Clementine if she wants a drink and then hands her a glass of whiskey.

The movie has some very loopy and confusing scenes, these may stress some viewers out.

This film is extremely emotional and may move viewers to cry.

A few intense arguments with yelling.

There is a very emotional, heart-wrenching scene of a child crying in a crashed automobile. It is extremely realistic.
