Siboney Lo Is Pathetic!!!

I wish i hadn't rent this film. Recently i searched this film on the web. And found out some good reviews about it. But i am so sorry to say that this is one of the worst movie i have ever came across.

The story-telling to the camera work, Especially the performance of the Lead Actress Siboney Lo was horrible!! She didn't knew how to act!! She had no Expressions on her face at all. Yes! There are some nude scenes in the movie. But very cheaply directed and acted ones. This film can be compared to any Soft Porno kinda flick! I really have no idea that how come Miami Film Festival gives an AWARD to an actress who does not know how to perform her part.

Guys!! Please beware!! Think at least 100 times before renting this movie. I have literally SUFFERED!!

Pathetic Piece of Garbage!

Okay! Before we start talking about this pathetic piece of garbage called El Leyton, Let's take a small eye on the commenter who commented this film as Brilliant...

rnc55: Is either related to the Film Maker or has some connections with the actress Siboney Lo. Because if you see this actress profile on IMDb, You can easily find out that all the Message Board posts in her profiles are either created by her or her friends.

I am in very much favor of the other two commenter's here who claimed this film to be a Bad Film with Bad Performances. Yes! This is a Bad film that you would like to stay away from. Especially because of the actors involved in this film. There is so much Bad Performance involved in this that you actually pinch yourself by saying is this for real.

The film is shot on Mini DV and has no technical value to sing praise for. The storyline keeps you guessing with it's shock value every time that you cannot catch a frame. The moment you try to understand one scene, The other scene is arrived. If you want to watch how bad a film can be made, Watch this!

The Film and the Actress Siboney Lo is so BAD!!

I really have no idea that how come a Television Channel like ITV screens such a Pathetic Low grade Porno Flick like this.

I was happening to scroll the TV Channel and found out this film playing in my countries TV Channel. Trust me guys!! You really don't want to see this film. It was said later on the clippings that this film won some award. Now! Can that be possible? If yes! How come?? Everything in this film was so bad that i could easily rented a Porno Film instead of watching this Torture. Why had i wasted my precious 90 minutes on this crab, I really have no idea.

I am ashamed of the actress Siboney Lo in this film who does not know how to act. She was acting as if she was walking in her sleep. How could a Film Maker cast such a Pathetic Actress like SIBONEY LO. I fully agree with the other commenter here. The actress is really bad. She is so bad that her Bad Acting made the film even more worse!! Please stay out of this film guys!!!

Brilliant Noir from Chile

Okay, this isn't traditional shadowy urban black and white film noir. In fact it's rural, sun-drenched, and in vivid, circus-like color. But the story and characters reek wonderfully of noir. It made me think of The Postman Always Rings Twice, though the plot is completely different. The three main characters are all absolutely unforgettable, beautifully painted against a gorgeous seaside backdrop and brought to raging life by great, great, great actors. Even the supporting characters are all unique, fully rounded real people despite limited screen time, which is a credit to the writing and directing. There is not one wasted moment, not one superfluous word of dialogue in El Leyton.

I picked this up on a whim at the public library and now I'm contemplating putting it on my all-time top ten list. Amazing.
