Stanley Blystone is a jealous man. His wife, Addie McPhail, had been pursued around Europe by Russian Duke Mitchell Lewis, until she had lied and told him she was married. Now Blystone is worried that she will prefer him to Blystone. After he stalks off, she asks plumber Lloyd Hamilton to pretend to be her husband, so she won't have to explain his absence.
It's an oddly stagy and unappealing little comedy short, considering that it's Roscoe Arbuckle directing his wife in the role. Hamilton manages a couple of decent physical movies, but in general talkies were not kind to his screen character.
