A part of Germany's history

Warning: Spoilers
Hamburg, 1988: After the death of her mother, the 13-year-old orphan Lilly, an unusual case, decides to flee from West Germany to East Germany, where her aunt Lena lives with her family. The movie characterizes the (social) consequences of dividing a whole nation and describes the injustice caused by the regime of the German Democratic Republic. A touching and sad story that explains a part of Germany's history for anyone who would like to be more informed about the not too distant past and the fallout from two separate and divided Germanys, now unified and made whole. This movie is especially suited for a young/teenage audience.
