Sex & Nudity

  • Numerous sex scenes, some more graphic than others.
  • A teenage girl undresses and the man and her are implied to have sex, but it is not very graphic.
  • The man later forces her to have sex. We see him lift up her dress and hear thumping from the other side of the wall.
  • On a wedding night, a man and woman kiss and fondle on a bed.
  • At the same time, on another wedding night, a teenage girl takes her husband's shirt off and kisses his nipples and moves her head off screen, possibly giving him oral sex. They are later seen embracing, nude, without any visible nudity as she discusses a man sexually abused her and "taught her things."
  • Doctor Zhivago is seen having sex with his wife. Thrusting is shown as well as heavy breathing and moaning as he climaxes. No nudity.
  • A man and woman have sex in an affair. We see her breasts for brief periods of time as he climaxes.

Violence & Gore

  • Numerous scenes of street violence and war.
  • One scene implying cannibalism. We see a man cutting - offscreen - a dead body, and putting some bloody flesh in his mouth.
  • A scene where detached limbs hang, and a man crawls out, bloody stumps of limbs. It's very gory.
  • The movie begins with a surgery to open a clogged airway. We see him going to cut into the boy's throat, but all the gore is offscreen, as well as most of the blood.
