This is an excellent mini series about the situation in a small town in Turkey during the Independence War. After the World War I, the 600 years old Ottoman Empire was very weak, and the country was invaded by winners of the World War I.

In a small town in Anatolia, the people was confronting to dilemma of waiting the orders of the old government in Istanbul, or joining a new army to fight the enemy. While a religious leader is insisting on to stay loyal to the Empire, many others were believing in that the new army is their only choice.

On the other hand, the production is very successful, and the acting is quite natural. the most prominent actors of the Turkish Cinema made this mini series one of the classics of the Turkish Cinema History.
