The second film in the unfinished (so far) superhero trilogy begun with "The Night Shift" this one is an improvement over the original in terms of storytelling.. you can follow the action and the camera work and chosen angles are good for the most part. "Big Dave" Jacobs seems to be growing into his role, and works fairly well here.. with Cherise Bangs as the mysterious woman in black comes across as apropriately appealing. A few low budget fx shots help the action. The only real problem is a clunkily stagged fight scene at the ending and some silly mugging by the extras playing the drug dealers. GRADE: B
