Sex & Nudity

- There are several scenes of implied sex and brief discussions of sex or innuendo regarding sex. None of it is very specific, it is more raised eyebrows, noises heard through the wall, and comments like "I can feel your 'resolve' stiffening."
- There are a couple scenes where Mandy (Heather Graham) is shown dancing around in her underwear. And at one point she is naked (or at least topless), through nothing is shown except for a brief side view of her breast.
- In another scene Vera (Minnie Driver) walks out of a bathroom in her bra and panties. SHe is shown in the next scene standing outside in the same outfit and kisses another character.

- one character (Vera) smokes throughout the movie. But it is a running joke in that it is illegal to smoke just about anywhere in the town, so she is often thwarted in her attempts to light up.
- In one scene a female character drinks from a bottle of whiskey, then appears slightly drunk.
- There are a couple of scenes where characters are shown having beer or cocktails. It is social consumption and no drunkenness is shown.
