Okay show
Catherine_Grace_Zeh14 August 2008
I used to watch this show when I was growing up. When I think about it, I remember it pretty well. If you ask me, it was an okay show. Two things I remember pretty well are the opening sequence and theme song. In addition to that, everyone was ideally cast. Also, the writing was very strong. The performances were top-grade, too. I hope some network brings it back so I can see every episode. Before I wrap this up, I'd like to say that I'll always remember this show in my memory forever, even though I don't think I've seen every episode. Now, in conclusion, if some network ever brings it back, I hope that you catch it one day before it goes off the air for good.

It was so freaking Awesome!
Colony19 June 2003
This show was absolutely hilarious, no questions at all. It made clever use of puppets and the general Nickelodeon slime. It had crazy characters and funny situations. They would show a classic cartoon once or twice an episode.

I have no idea why it lasted for such a short time, it was obviously one of Nickelodeon's best. There's hope for it, though. Nickelodeon recently showed an old episode of the Adventures of Pete and Pete, so they may decide to start showing this one again. I hope so.

A lost piece of the Nickeleon Golden Era!
emasterslake23 March 2007
I remembered watching this show a lot way back in the mid 90s. When Nickeleon still had everything you'd want it to have. Including great cartoons, game shows, and memorable teen shows. Out of the bunch was Wienerville.

A staged city where puppets are citizens and were all performed by Marc Wiener. Also the host of the show who interacts with the puppets who are part of the show. Including Mayor Dottie, Boney the Dinosaur, Chef Pops, Louie, & good olé' bad mouth Socko. Throughout the performances we'd find Marc and the puppets do all sorts of bizarre actives with the performed audiences. Including games, jokes, assistance, and being part of the show. Plus during the middle of the show, they'd get a large portable TV or elevator(don't remember what it looked like) out and show an old school cartoon like "Mr. Magoo", "Batfink" of the original "Chipmunks".

I loved this TV show so much. It was a real drag that it ended along with several other ones. It's been a decade since the last time I've seen. And this is something that you'll never see again on Nickeloen. And the odds for a DVD release on the show are as slim as a DVD release for the "What Would You Do" show. The precise memories still remain in my mind. And will never forget it. But hopefully one day I'll be able to see it once more, for old time sakes.

This was a great show!

This was a great show! I remember Boney, and that thing where the actors put their heads in the little stage and they were over puppets bodies, with Dotty and some professor, I think, and that red-headed puppet that Mark put his hand in and had it kick him with that loud smack sound. Also, there was a short played, I think. I still remember the openingwer the bus or something would drive until it came to a sign that said Weinerville, then they would drive into a grey building that had slime pouring out the top I think. Other than that I remember nothing.

I remember this show. Fo sakey, my jockey, it was one of the dopest shows on Nickeloden. I liked the creativeness to some of the sketches. I would definately say that it made my life a little more rocking. Thanks Weinerville, it was a great frickin show!
