Understated and Brilliant

Warning: Spoilers
I saw this series when it was airing as reruns on pogo channel India. I was immediately drawn to it's simplicity, truthfulness and subtle humor. I don't know what the producers were aiming for, but the underlying themes are a handful for any adult, let alone kids (on whom it's supposed to be aimed at). It's a shame none of the main cast (attard, seychelle and co) are more well known.

It's a delightful journey through the eyes of Roger Theasurus (Attard) as they learn life and love in a sleepy Australian hamlet. This show's strength does not lie in a star cast or fantastic comedy stitches, but in the cleverness of it's script and it's understanding of the human spirit.

8 stars all the way, don't miss this one folks.

Well it's not Neighbours

Britain seems to get its fair share of Australian television programmes. Some of them good and some of them not so good. But it tends to be the not so good ones that get all the attention, and by that I mean the soaps. Ok I like Neighbours but essentially its rubbish. As for Home and Away why couldn't all of its sets been burnt down in the caravan park fire.

But this is brilliant! Really good acting from the very young cast, its very funny and it does actually capture the mentally of kids at that age (or how I felt anyway). In fact at some times it's a little too close to home. It also is a programme that does not take itself seriously, I can't put it any other way then that (watch it and you'll understand. Very lively TV show that's aimed at younger people but can be appreciated by a lot older (I think).

Not bad

Dasting like a Cartman, I really dont know why the hell protagonist still have a friendship with him. Ok. I dont know why they all still be together.

Australian series have some kind of magic.

I like them.

Not bad for a teen TV, but if you looking for something like a great level, I guess you should start watching movies.
