" Accomplished and Ambitious "
George Spirakis6 March 2002
It would be criminal to give away much of what makes this film,at times, outrageously funny, so assume that the storyline is punctuated by several actors Dave (Jeffery Wolinski)and Adam (Quentin Kayhill). We meet both Dave and Adam during there high school years. In the "day and the life" scenario, these two characters both have a strong chemistry,so much so,you wish they had more screen time. This movie works, and much of the credit belongs with the cast, who are all on the same wavelength. The camera angles and movements keep your mind off the idiocies of the script, and the finale, a spectacular sight gag about teenage years. Kudos to Director Michael Wolinski. Comedy appears to be Wolinski's true trade. The Wolinski Brothers pack a five star punch. If you want a good laugh for the sake of a good laugh, be the first to see this film. Hollywood!! Surprisingly funny and it gets better as it goes along.

I went to see this movie with trepidation: would it be dull or worse, embarrassing? It was neither. What struck me most was the good heart and spirit of the movie. Brendan Mackey in a supporting role was a surprising plus. He brought youth and vigor but even more, an intelligence rarely seen in a film by new film makers.

I want to see it again.
