I am old enough to vividly remember playing Atari, back when it was the 'best' console available, so my memory of wrestling games is just as vivid, and this is the first wrestling game available for home consoles. I just want to make mention of that because I wish to show my respects to a late, great legend that made an appearance in this game. Bam Bam Bigelow. Right there with other great of the time. Hulk Hogan, Andre The Giant, Ted DiBiase, Randy Savage. Though these stars will probably stand the test of time longer than the dearly departed, no one can ever take away, that in the popular video game medium, The Beast from the East, was there when it started. R.I.P Scott Bigelow, I'll always remember you!

Mediocre NES Wrestling Game

WWF Wrestlemania or simply wrestlemania was released in 1989 for the NES.Wrestlemania the Pay Per View event started in 1985 and still continues today.This was I think the first video game based on wrestling.I have played quite a few wrestling games such as WWF War Zone,WWF Raw and WCW Nitro.WWF Wrestlemania was an alright NES game.The graphics were not so good even for the NES system but it was cool at the time how you could choose your favorite wrestler and battle.There is not really much to say about this game.It does not tell you how to pin your opponent so you have to guess just like in WWF Raw.A mediocre NES game.

WWF Wrestlemania is one of the most exciting video games! The wrestlers, the action, the fighting, and the sure thrill of excitement makes this game a fun non-stop playing time! Below is a brief look how I think the game is!
Game Play: The game play is very good. There is really basic controls here and is easy to perform. Novice gamers should have a good time here!
Graphics: The graphics are wonderful especially for the Nintendo System! The backgrounds are really beautiful!
Difficulty: The game is easy but as it goes on you find out that it will become more difficult!
Music: The music is great! Just fantastic catchy tunes through out the game! In My opinion its some of the best music ever in a video game!
Sound: The sound is great. Nuff said!
Overall: I have always loved WWF Wrestlemania! If you like wrestling and sports games then I strongly recommend you play this game!

Greatest Arcade Game

This is the best arcade game that I have ever played. It was the first wrestling arcade game that I remember and I have yet to see its equal. I wish that I could find one to buy because this is definitely one game that you can't get bored of.
