You just never know who you're talking to!

For the benefit of the over 50's, ICQ is a widely used Internet chat program, that allows registered users to "talk" online, exchange files and/or even photographs. Many chat the night away with new found friends using this medium.

McLean's award winning short, that he himself describes as a mystery/drama concerns a man who while surfing the ICQ network comes across a woman whose acquaintance he could well have done without. The relationship runs the gauntlet of intrigue through to the sinister.

The short took out the "Best Director" award in October 2001 at the International and Independent Film and Video festival in New York. On return to his home soil in Australia, McLean's film was nominated for Best Sound Design (short film) for the prestigious AFI (Ausralian Film Institute) awards for 2002.
